I was absolutely thrilled to be invited to judge at Lancashire & Cheshire English Springer open show. many thanks to the officers & committee of this superbly run society for my appointment.

1. Elazlan Tribal Craft

Very promising 7 month old B & W boy in super condition. Lovely head & dark eye, good length of neck into well set shoulders, good front, nice tight feet & super bone. Good spring of rib, excellent rear quarters which he used well on the move. Delighted to award this young lad best puppy dog & best puppy in show. All credit to his super young owner handler who showed him to perfection & certainly knows how to get the best out of him. Many congratulations.

7 month old raw L & W baby that has plenty of time on his side to mature. Super coat & nicely presented.

Delightful 9.5 month old well balanced L & W boy that really made his handler work. Lovely head & kind expression, well off for bone. Super tight feet, nice strong rear quarters, best of coats & lovely presentation.

Lovely 12 month old youngster full of substance. Good head that needs to finish to complete the picture, good length of neck into super lay of shoulders. Fabulous bone & feet. Super topline he held on the move. Definitely one to watch for the future.

2 year old L & W dog, good head but would prefer a darker eye.  Ample bone throughout. Decent rib & good muscle tone. Nice tidy feet. Could have shown himself better to advantage today with a bit more fluidity on the move

1. Cherishym Dofida

Quality 2.5 year old B & W boy with a beautiful head, correct eye shape & super expression. He has a long muscular neck that flows into well set shoulders. Lovely front, & has the most fabulous bone & feet. Good spring of rib & well balanced throughout. Super quarters he used well on the move & powered round the ring showing off his super movement to advantage. Superbly presented. One to watch.
2. Beresford Lockdown

Lovely balanced 2 year old L & W boy with super dark eye & melting expression. Strong neck set into well laid shoulders. Excellent front & good return of upper arm. Well muscled quarters.Not moving out today as well as he can behind which cost him greatly in this class.

1. Sh Ch Beresford As Good As It Gets

This stunning male was definitely my find of the day & did not disappoint,  he took my eye immediately on entering the ring & demanded attention. 4 year old L & W male that gave me goosebumps while going over him & was presented & handled to perfection & not a hair out of place. He has the most fabulous head, darkest of eyes &  beautiful expression i simply could not ignore. Well positioned shoulders, deep chested & super spring of rib, a well balanced boy that filled my eye immensely. On the move he was a joy to watch powering round the ring using his super hind quarters to advantage. Delighted to award him Best Dog. He later pulled out all the stops against the beautiful bitch in the challenge where he went on to take Best in show. Many congratulations. 
2. Sh Ch Dexbenella Atticus Finch ShCEx

Lovely gleaming boy in super fit Condition. Super head & kind expression. Good shoulder placement & return of upper arm. Well sprung ribs & strong quarters. Best of bone & feet. Top class presentation as always from this exhibitor. Unlucky to come up against the top form class winner on the day but am sure will change places many times. Reserve best dog.

I just adore this boys personality & ring presence. Lovely 9 year old B & W boy that was enjoying his day out. Presented in super coat & condition. Good head & dark eye. Strong neck. Well ribbed. Excellent bone & stands on good feet. Well handled & looks fantastic for his age. Best Veteran Dog & delighted to award him Best Veteran in Show

Lovely 8 month old baby with an exciting future ahead of her. Everything in right place for her age. She holds the most delightful stack in profile & carries herself well on the move. Delighted to award her Best Puppy Bitch & another to watch out for in the future. 
2. Daenerys Moondancer To Cherishym

Litter sister to class winner. Lots to like about her, I just preferred the overall balance & more positive movement of winner who is more together at this stage.

11 months old feminine B & W bitch. Superbly presented & in fantastic condition as always from this kennel. Good head, kind eye & expression. Decent length of neck & well placed shoulders, ample bone & neat feet using her strong rear quarters to drive her gracefully around the ring.

12 month old bitch, litter sister to my junior dog winner & similar comments apply. A well made girl throughout. Another very appealing youngster from this super exhibitor. Along with junior dog, are a duo of youngsters I shall follow as they grow, with much interest.

Coming up 2 years old & what a love she is... Super head, lovely kind eye giving the most pleasing expression, nice clean neck into super placed shoulders. Correct length of rib & kept her top line on the move. Well off for bone & best of feet. Super happy girl keen to delight & loving her day out.

4 year old pretty bitch with a super head, kind eye & the most divine expression. Well balanced girl with super spring of rib. Well off for bone & stands on nice tidy feet. Moved well round the ring. Not wearing her best coat today.

4 year old bitch & litter sister to previous class winner. Lovely head & expression. Correct eye shape & colour. Super coat & condition. Not a happy girl on the move today, i put it down to the noisy drain coverings under the carpet. A real shame.

6 year old stunning female I have long admired from ringside. I was absolutely delighted to get my hands over her today & she totally fulfilled my expectations. She has the most fabulous head & eye with the most delightful expression that took my breath away whilst going over her. She screams quality from nose to tail. Super length of neck into well laid shoulders. Best of fronts. Well sprung ribs, so well balanced & correct throughout. Super bone & beautiful feet. At one with her very talented handler. Absolutely delighted to award her Best Bitch & Reserve Best In Show. Many congratulations.

Quality 5 year old B & W bitch that pleased me immensely. Beautifully Presented coat. Well put together bitch with a pleasing head & lovely dark eye, good reach or neck that flowed into well set shoulders. Strong in loin with super quarters she used well on the move. Delighted to award her Reserve Best Bitch.

 8 year old bitch totally enjoying her day out & loving the attention. Decent head but would have preferred a darker eye. Nice neck & good shoulder placement. Enough bone throughout. Good spring of rib. Moved round the ring as if she was a youngster, however tended to loose her top line on the move.
