The Lancs & Cheshire English Springer Spaniel Club would like to invite you to one or both of our shows held during the year
We hold an Open show, to help promote up and coming judges for the breed, both 'specialists' and 'non-breed specialist'
Annually we also hold a breed Championship Show, a prestigious affair, with judges ranging from 1st timers, overseas, and old custodians of the breed.
We hope that you will be able to support our shows, and we look forward to offording you a very warm welcome.

CHAIGMARSH
My wife and I bought our first English Springer in 1977 from the Cliffhill kennel of Doug and Jean Sheppard. We quickly fell in love with the breed and dog showing! He was made up into a full champion Ch Cliffhill Cavalier at Chaigmarsh. We bought a Cliffhill bitch and she produced Chaigmarsh Touch of Class who quickly went on to gain her junior warrant and reserve cc's.
Touch of Class was mated to Ch Ardencote Alexander to produce our top winning dog ,ShCh Chaigmarsh Sudden Impact , winner of 10cc's and 6 res cc's. He was top winning stud dog in 1989. One of his progeny Rodney alias GB.ShCh.NCh.DkUCh Chaigmarsh Orchid won 6 cc's in this country and went on to be a top winning dog on the continent.
I had the honour of serving as Chairman of the English Springer Club for many years before retiring from the Committee in 2013.
I have judged about 13 Championship Shows with CCs including Crufts in 2010. I have also judged English Springers abroad.
Given the choice would I show English Springers again my answer would be yes. They are such a good looking breed and their temperaments are second to none, a pleasure to be with.
